About Sara
Fitness is a Lifestyle
Sara Lennon, owner and founder of Fitegrity Athletics, was born and raised in the downriver community. A lifelong athlete, in high school Sara excelled in sports but focused on soft ball. Upon graduating Sara found herself working as a waitress and going to school but searching for her purpose. At 24, Sara decided her dream was to be surrounded by a community in fitness and Fitegrity was born.
Sara has her Associates Degree in Exercise Science from Henry Ford College, she is a certified NASM Personal Trainer and in ACE group fitness.
Sara wraps her life with faith, and is focused on serving her church and community. She loves to travel and hopes to travel with her Fitegrity Family. She is planning her wedding for November of 2021

Join Our Fitness Community
Fitegrity Athletics was founded in 2017 by Sara Lennon. We started serving out of Metro City Church. As Sara’s dream became bigger and bigger the humble beginnings in the church took to the community. Running our first challenge in parks, parking lots and outdoors in the downriver community. This inevitably led to our first studio location, giving Fitegrity it’s official home and footing to grow. Within the first year, we were awarded the “Best Business of the Year.”
Our goal has always been to provide a safe space for women of all backgrounds, ages, shapes, sizes and fitness levels to grow into their own confidence. We are more than a gym, we are a community to do life with, where you can rediscover your full potential and form bonds within our sisterhood.
Fitegrity Athletics went through another transformation in 2020. As the world stopped, Fitegrity Athletics kept fighting, growing our online class options and sticking together as a community. Finally, we had the opportunity to move into our new location, a bigger and better version of our first location in order to provide the space and classes our members want and need. We are excited for what the next year and phase has to offer as we keep growing and serving the community.
